Precautionary Steps: Town of Hollywood Leadership is monitoring federal, state, and County official updates. We are closing the Senior Center to assure the families that use our services that they are safe from this virus. The Senior Center will be closed until further notice. We will continue to hold our normal monthly Town Council meetings on the 4th Monday and the Planning Commission on the 2nd Thursday. All churches in the Town are adopting ways to keep their worshipers safe. I urge all residents and visitors to follow normal flu procedures of washing hands with soap and water, avoiding close contact with other people, covering all sneezes and coughs, staying home when sick and safely disposing of used tissues and similar items. As with any health threat common sense and personal hygiene goes a long way in reducing the threat and stopping the spread of this virus. In closing I pray every day for the safety of my family and the people of our community.
