Dr. Chardale Murray was born November 29, 1975 in Hollywood, South Carolina.
She is the daughter of Lorraine and Charlie Murray, Sr. and the mother of Bryce
Murray.

She graduated from Baptist Hill High School 1994 and attended the University of
South Carolina's Social Work Master's Program after graduating from Talladega
College in 1998. She received her honorary doctorate degree from Cannon Bible
College. Chardale is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Gamma Xi
Omega Chapter) and Henrietta B. White Temple #1342. (I.B.P.O.E.W)

Occupational Highlights:
Chardale is the Owner of Murray's Mortuary which has been established for 18
years. She was the Manager of Harleston-Boags Funeral Home, Inc. for three
years. In March 2000, she passed the state's licensing test to become one of the
area's youngest funeral directors. Mrs. Murray also owned Murray’s Executive LLC,
a trucking company, since 2017, as well as several other businesses.

Leadership Highlights:
Mrs. Murray began her eighteen month term as the Town of Hollywood’s Town
Councilmember on July 1, 2019 and in her first six months of office, she initiated
an Annual Veteran’s Day Breakfast with over 200 people in attendance, matched
Steve Harvey’s contribution and gave away over 200 free turkey’s to Senior
Citizens in the rural Hollywood community in November and in her ongoing
support of the youth I coordinated a gift of 70 bicycles to children during the
Hollywood Christmas Parade in December 2019.
