Regular Meetings
This type of meeting is for the purpose of conducting and discussing general and routine business of the municipality and to enact the necessary ordinances and resolutions of the Town of Hollywood.
Special Meetings
This type of meeting may be held at the call of Mayor or majority of Council members. These meetings are called for when situations warrant them and when matters cannot be postponed until the next regular meeting.
In the event of an emergency, the Mayor or majority of Council may call for an emergency special meeting; when confronted with a crisis situation.
Executive Sessions
The Town Council may hold an Executive Session to discuss certain matters that are not disclosed to the general public. Any formal action required as result of discussion in Executive Session must be thereafter ratified.
Public Hearings
All citizens wishing to address Council should register with the Town Clerk before the meeting if they want to present documents for review. Otherwise, they may sign up at the meeting to make a comment or pose a question.
